Disney introduces MagicMobile app
Disney is introducing their new MagicMobile app! They are hoping to offer another great convenient and free Disney access tool as they have moved to charging for Magic Bands. You can still get a Magic Band but, it will cost you $5 per band if you place an order on My Disney Experience app in advance of your trip and $14.95 per band when you purchase at the park. Disney Adds a New Dining Option
Disney adds a new dining plan as of February 2020. Until this month Disney World has offered three levels of dining plans. The three current options include Quick Service, Disney Dining Plan, and Deluxe Dining Plan. The Disney dining plan can be a bit confusing on how it works and when and where you can use it. Rise of the Resistance Ride opens with boarding passes.
Rise of the Resistance ride opened to huge fan fair in Hollywood Studios December 5, 2020. In keeping with Disney tradition they will be temporarily offering boarding passes for the ride. This boarding pass will not be needed for the land or for the Millennium Falcon. It also does not guarantee you get to ride Rise of the Resistance. It just give you a 2 hour window to try and get in line. You can not get a boarding pass until you and your entire party are inside of Hollywood Studios. Disneyland Resort Express closes operations
Disney Update: Disneyland will stop operations of their Disneyland Resort Express Bus effective January 7, 2020. The Disneyland Resort Express transported Disneyland guests from LAX to their resorts. However, it never really worked as good as other shuttle operations such as Disney World’s Disney Magical Express. It was a transportation you had to pay for, Disney Magical Express is free. It didn’t have the ease and flow of the airport to easily locate the terminal. In addition, it worked independently of Disney as its own bus company that you often had to contact directly if you had issues because Disney could not help you. So, it doesn’t come as a…
