After a Lenten retreat at Maryville, Helen went to Kansas City to return the class ring of a boy she was dating. Amy Krouse Rosenthal, author of many children's books and a recent essay in the 'New York Times' that went viral, has died of ovarian cancer at age 51. This resulted in the creation of P.S. Laila News printed an obituary that confirms that Helen Rosenthal died in October 2019.
